MCS/Action Takes the Helm for GESS
After the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural Gulf Education Supplies and Solutions event (GESS), the region’s premier educational, supplies and solutions event, GESS has once again sought comprehensive PR assistance from MCS/Action in Dubai.
MCS/Action effected promotion and publicity efforts throughout the region, and GESS 2008 was a huge success, with attendance by more than 4,000 education professionals from 25 countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The event has already outgrown its first home, Madinat Jumeirah, in Dubai, and GESS 2009 and the Global Education Forum will take place at the Dubai Airport Expo Centre, March 10-12.
The only education show of its kind in the region, GESS is supported by the UAE Ministry of Education and by leading education organisations such as the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) and UK Trade and Investment Support, World Didac and the DDV – the German Educational Supplies Association.
“Our Dubai team is delighted to be working again with GESS and with the UAE Ministry of Education” said Action UAE General Manager David Baker. “In our role as Public Relations Consultants to GESS, we have implemented a traditional PR campaign combined with marketing and administrative solutions designed to bring GESS to Dubai’s annual events calendar”.
MCS/Action continues to work closely with the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) on behalf of GESS organisers, in order to maintain the organization’s high-level relationship with the MoE. “We are supporting GESS by arranging and managing press conferences, and by inviting VIPs, including different ministers, from the GCC countries.” Baker added. “We are looking forward to another blockbuster event in March.”
