Packed! Action Kuwait Hosts Arabian Travel Market 2009 Press Conference

On 22 March, Action Kuwait arranged and hosted the official press conference to announce Arabian Travel Market 2009, the Middle East’s premier travel and tourism event. The press conference was held in Kuwait City.

"The Arabian Travel Market continues to be a central platform for Kuwaiti companies to conduct business with existing partners in traditional markets and to showcase their diverse product offerings to possible future source markets”, said Jamal Al-Shaya, Assistant Under-Sectary for Tourism, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. “No other Middle East show allows us to open up business avenues to bolster our inbound and outbound product base going forward”. Mark Walsh, Group Exhibitions Director of Reed Travel Exhibitions, took questions during the press conference, as did Sarah Kitley of Arabian Travel Market.

“The Action Kuwait team put together a fantastic press conference to announce Arabian Travel Market 2009”, said Amina Al Jarery, Country Manager for Action Kuwait. “We had a terrific turnout. We are of course happy to be part of any event that promotes the growth of SMEs in Kuwait”.
