Tony Christodoulou – Chairman, Action Global Communications
Founder and Chairman of Action Global Communications, Tony Christodoulou began his career in the 60s as a communication specialist in London’s pop music industry and established Action Global Communications in 1971. Tony is based in the company’s headquarters in Cyprus, from where he drives the vision of delivering great PR results for the many clients across Action’s network of agencies across the emerging markets.

Ruxandra Scortea – Country Manager, Romania
Ruxandra joined Action Global Communications in 1999 and started the company’s operations in Romania. She has led the development process of the agency into a respected and long-term business consultancy for a diverse client portfolio. With a thorough understanding of the Romanian business environment and the communications industry, she has trained and consolidated a team of professionals that has twice been awarded for excellence in PR. Ruxandra acted as consultant during the privatisation process of Petrom with OMV and, in the aftermath of the transaction, as an adviser on communications strategy and internal structures.

Kathy Christodoulou – Director, Action Global Communications
Kathy has played a major role in the development and expansion of Action’s network. Her wealth of experience includes comprehensive account management for network clients, including British Airways, which she has managed for 10 years in 30 countries, besides OMV, Siemens, Amadeus and many others. As Head of Global Client Services, Kathy manages a team of 10 and oversees the country managers across the 40+ office network, ensuring that Action’s clients throughout all countries receive the same high standard of service.

Spyros Kouroupis – Country Manager, Greece
Spyros joined Action Global Communications in 2007 to coach the network’s activities in Greece and the Balkans. Having worked for the European Commission for two years and for the EPPA Group in Brussels, he became an accredited lobbyist for the European Parliament. Soon after he left the EU premises, he was assigned as the General Director of the Center for Political Communication and Research, the Hellenic Retail Business Association and the Hellenic Association of Super Markets. His coaching capabilities made him get elected twice as the President of the International Retail Associations Organization in New York.

Irina Roncea – Account Manager, Romania
Irina provides client service support and consultancy to clients from various industries including energy and automotive. She joined Action in 2006 and gained strong expertise in media relations, consultancy and internal publications.

Margarita Belougina – Senior Account Executive, Russia
Margarita joined Action Global Communications Russia in April 2008 as a Senior Account Executive. Margarita’s expertise in British culture and education enables her to manage two accounts (Promethean and VisitBritain) successfully. Within a year in Action, Margarita has organised individual interviews for Promethean, coordinated the annual MITT reception at the British Embassy for VisitBritain and
committed to planning and running press conferences for Tourism Australia and Freescale Semiconductors. At the moment Margarita is taking an MA course in Sociology. One of her researches is dedicated to analyzing the ‘glamour’ phenomenon based on lifestyle magazines reading styles.

Camelia Cristache – Senior Account Executive, Romania
Camelia joined Action Romania in 2007. She is involved with accounts such as OMV and Boehringer Ingelheim, supporting their brand and corporate communications programs. Camelia’s interest and involvement in Digital PR is key to the success of the agency’s online communication campaigns. She is currently undertaking MBA studies at the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest.

Cristina Butunoi – Account Manager, Romania
After five years of working in Public Relations including the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the Romanian Government, Cristina joined Action Romania in 2008. Her previous work as a journalist for three years brings key insights and expertise in media relations strategies for the agency’s clients.
Diana Gedeikyte-Jakutiene – Account Director, Consensus PR, Lithuania
Diana joined Consensus PR, a partner agency of Action Global Communications in Lithuania, in 2009. She has been working in the public relations sector since 2001. Diana completed her BA in Information Management and MA in Public Relations at Vilnius University. She gained her professional experience by working as an editor of the magazine “Naujas namas”, as well as an Account Manager in other PR agencies. Diana has experience in corporate, marketing, crisis and internal communication in such sectors as finance, logistics, IT, food, retail and consumer goods among other.
